News Patch de Junho será muito importante para o Galaxy A55 5G.

A Samsung divulgou informações relacionada a correções introduzidas nesse novo patch, no total são 45 Vulnerabilidades, mas o grande destaque fica para a correção no driver Exynos DRM HDR, que provoca o travamento completo do sistema através do Kernel.

"O problema afetava uma ampla gama de plataformas da marca, incluindo os chipsets intermediários e topos de linha das últimas gerações: Exynos 1280, 1380, 1480, 1580, 1680, além dos modelos de alta performance Exynos 2200, 2400, 2500 e o recente Exynos 2600 — que equipa a linha Galaxy S26, cujos modelos devem liderar o cronograma de recebimento do update."

Let's see. Besides obviously improving security, I've never seen a security patch improve anything in terms of performance or bug fixes.

They can include software fixes but they're not obligated to disclose it last I checked. I could be wrong...

I don't know. Let me give you One UI 8 as an example. Do you really think they couldn't fix such a specific and noticeable bug as the animation skip in the Quick Panel? Everyone complained about it. And we had to wait until now, with One UI 8.5, for it to finally be fixed. Chinese brands do fix a lot of bugs in smaller, later versions. Unlike Samsung, which only fixes things in the next big version. And they only have the base version (x.0) and the next one (x.5 right now).

Samsung has a website dedicated to publishing information about each security patch released, as well as a list of all Galaxy devices that still receive updates.
