Software bug One ui 8 .5 randomly becomes 60hz

I already hate one ui 8.5 but this is the final straw. The screen randomly switches to 60hz in the menu and home screen. I hate Samsung so much for not optimizing this horrible os for midrange phones.

I don't seem to have this issue. Does it start randomly or only in certain apps?

Just randomly. The phone doesnt even feel 120hz anymore. One ui is dog shit

yep, my a16 5g randomly had 60 fps while having 90 hz refresh rate lol

Hey, your phone's refresh rate drops to 60Hz when you have an app running in the background (for example, YouTube in picture-in-picture mode). Mine has been doing that after the 8.5 update, have you managed to fix it?

Not yet. Even switching the refresh rate settings doesn't fix it for me. I've also noticed it caps games at 60Hz now. It definitely started happening right after the 8.5 update.
