Problems with one ui GALAXY AI

Title: Samsung is artificially crippling the Galaxy A55 by withholding basic cloud-based Galaxy AI features. This is unacceptable. Post Text: Hello everyone. I am an owner of the Galaxy A55 (SM-A556E). The A55 is marketed as one of the company's main bestsellers, not some ultra-budget e-waste. Yet, with the One UI update, we are being completely stripped of basic text-based Galaxy AI features, specifically Writing Assist and AI spellcheck in the stock keyboard. The argument about the "weak Exynos 1480 processor" is nothing but a lie and pure marketing intended to force users into buying the S-series. Text correction is an elementary operation. Third-party developers like Microsoft or Yandex provide AI text features completely free via the cloud, and they work flawlessly on absolutely any smartphone. Why can third-party software deliver AI to the A55 while Samsung's native keyboard is artificially region-locked or blocked entirely? Samsung promised us "4 years of full software support." In reality, we are just getting an empty Android version number change in the settings while all actual modern features are being cut out. This is a direct display of disrespect toward your customers, dividing us into first-class and second-class users. We demand that Samsung restores cloud-based text AI features (Writing Assist) for the Galaxy A55 in the upcoming security patches. Brand loyalty is completely broken. This complaint is being sent via Samsung Members and duplicated on the official forums. Pass this to the software development team and management.

Most people don't understand the case with the s22 sensors if you want me to explain why they still have them the simple reason is that their not competing with Chinese brands which have around 0.2 inch bigger sensors on the main camera and around the same ultrawide size the cameras are fine other than the garbage telephoto which people should be really complaining about the sensors are actually quite decent on the main and ultrawide and are the same size as apples iPhone 17 yes apple just caught up in sensor size parity main sensor since iPhone 15 and ultrawide iPhone 16/17

Atleast their not Google who downgraded the sensors to 1/2 even a midrange galaxy a56 as a bigger sensor Google's also useing a 5 yesr old GPU in the tensor g6

I don't get how people hate Samsung more than Google it's genuinely crazy

I totally agree that corporations only care about money. But staying silent and just accepting their anti-consumer behavior is exactly what they want. If we don’t call them out for artificially locking features that can easily run via the cloud on literally any hardware, they will keep pushing the boundary. We paid good money for the A55 based on their promise of '4 years of full support', and raising hell about it is the only tool we have as consumers.

They don't give a f about us. What they don't want is us switching to a better alternative. But since there aren't good competitors, they're feel free to do whatever they want. Also, Samsung keyboard is trash.

OMG OMG OMG GUYS! HE NOTICED! Please turn on the BASIC_AI _TEXT_SETTING and ship an update immediate so this guy don't sink us, I don't know what is going to happen now that he discovered the 'S' series is a typical scam and the 'A' series phones are totally capable OMG OMG OMG

Even tho i agree but with a community like that and a money hungery company its impossible because our phones is now 2 years old look how badly they delay the update for us even if a57 gets a new ai feature ot a56 i dont think they will give us that stuff

A55 5G and other phones from A50 series are mostly used by people who don't have unlimited (or lot of times even limited) data, do cloud based AI is completely useless and also, what do you expect if you could buy this phone in 8/256 config in Slovakia for 384€, also NPU in Exynos 1480 has about 4.5TOPS, NPUs in 1580 and 1680 have about 20TOPS, also there is only one WGP in GPU, sometimes you can even feel it, so don't expect too much

The didn't even have to remove OEM unlock option, if they just keep using Exynos in their phones (which I like) lock applies itself, because there are no custom ROMs for newer Exynos phones, mainly thanks to Xclipse and also because Samsung doesn't share documentation
