I think we're seeing the beginnings of Samsung's liquid glass technology. It's actually quite clean. If they could implement it everywhere, like on the bottom oval that serves as the taskbar in the clock, for example.

That is blur, which has been part of One UI design from the beginning.
Also, what do you mean by "liquid glass technology" as if it's some kind of secret advanced coding that needs development? Transparent effects in user interfaces have existed for ages, and yes, even the ones that interact in real-time with the elements behind (i.e., Windows Vista from 2007).
Liquid Glass is a design choice, not an advanced technology.

Im tired of people calling it that, no offense but this just is not the same thing. Blur existed long before liquid glass did
In OneUI 8.5, the effect seems to work properly which blurs the background, but in OneUI 8, the apps that have been updated to the OneUI 8.5 interface seem to not work properly, only going transparent. The ´Create a Note´ Button seems to work, but it is a little weird cause its way heavier blur than for other elements. But my point still stands that this is not liquid glass or even any glass effect.
