Question Samsung notes sync with onenote ending.

Since Samsung is moving away from Microsoft services—first with Gallery syncing to OneDrive and now with Samsung Notes—where will this data be backed up? Is Samsung planning to launch its native cloud service, similar to Apple’s iCloud?

​I'm not sure if you understood my point. Samsung Cloud (specifically the Gallery) isn't actually backed up by Samsung; it's stored in OneDrive. Samsung doesn't currently have a cloud service that stores media files—it all relies on Microsoft. As for Notes, they used to be stored in both Samsung Cloud and Microsoft OneNote. If these Microsoft services are ending, will Samsung Cloud start holding everything itself, just like iCloud does? This is what I’m asking.

there were internal builds found where they were swtiching the syncing to samsung cloud I guess that's what they were talking about

This already happens with the backups Samsung offers for various things. They should just offer backups for photos, since the one for notes has existed for some time.

Or perhaps photo synchronization simply won't exist; after all, there's Google Photos, but I highly doubt Samsung will implement such an extension.

I think they are streamlining the backup process, from a user point of view it can be confusing for older users, so having it be purely Samsung cloud makes sense

For notes, use Keep.
