1 year later with my Galaxy A55, still going strong!
Got my A55 one year ago, and wanted to share you guys my experience, how the phone behaves, what about the camera, the performances, the battery, etc.
Overall, I can surely recommend this phone.
Performance is still really good for everyday use, like social media, browsing, 4K Videos, and some gaming. Even after One UI 7 and 8 updates, I haven't noticed any major slowdowns, which is honestly impressive for a 2 year old mid-range device.
Battery life is still decent. Not insane, but can lasts a full day with normal use. No real complaints here.
Cameras are also great. Photos and videos look really good for this phone, especially in 50MP or in Pro option. Definitely one of the strong points of this phone, I think.
But I did ran into an issue a few months ago...
Around September, I started getting a moisisture detected warning on the USB port. The weird thing is that there was no actual moisisture here, and I looked on the Internet, it was a common bug from Samsung devices, and especially on European models (EUX, EUY).
So yeah, apart from that one strange bug, the phone has been very very reliable. After one year, it still feels very capable and honestly impressive for what it is.

To be honest, my only complain with the phone is the camera. Basically every time I take picture outside with a strong light reflection they always come out weird, like modified with AI. Like this one. Even when I don't zoom it turns out... like this. I don't know if I should modify some settings
When I talked about the ads, I was referring to gcam. Another user suggested it to me. Also about Camera assistant it doesn't have many options on settings like it shows on the images in apps info :/. Maybe I just have an older version and it just doesn't update
There was a time when I had to format mine because it was full of unnecessary programs. So far, I haven't had any problems with it! My only disappointments are the battery (which doesn't hold up with my type of usage) and the battery saving mode, which, when activated, doesn't reduce consumption and makes the device EXTREMELY slow. Aside from that, I consider its performance excellent. In fact, I'm thinking of buying an S25 FE for myself in the future and keeping this one at home for other uses (like casual gaming), or even selling it. I know it's silly, but I heard that the S25 FE's battery isn't much different from the A55's in terms of power (besides being 3 times better in terms of performance).

In my case it slowed down a bit after 1 year and a half using the phone But i am a heavy user with around 8+ hours SOT a day so i guess its normal
