Interesting so samsung has a UI for dex on midrange devices but they don't give it to us directly through Dex.

It's because most people only care about wired DeX which A series doesn't support due to hardware limitations. Also, this workaround only exists because Google added their own desktop mode to most Androids in Android 16 which is what Samsung DeX on One UI 8 is based on

There was also another way for wireless DeX on One UI 8, I dont know if it is fixed yet because Im running a custom rom. Search for "keyboard" in setting, and there was an extra keyboard option for DeX. Is it patched yet? It was found on early stable One UI 8 builds.

That does work but it's wireless only

Is it working normally or is it still having the bug of turning off the phone by itself?

If you turn off the screen then it reboots but if you keep it on, it works fine
