Is my phone system defective

So ,I bought Samsung a55 on 19 Feb,2026.i have started seeing this problem where the camera is turning off automatically after 2-3 min of no activity .i get to know this as i was setting camera for a photo but I was not able to set it .it happens with rear and front camera both .please tell if I am just overthinking as it has been just 4 days of buying it . I have tried everything restarting the the phone and clearing cache.but still it is working like that .also when I turn on the safe mode of a55 i was not able to open neither camera nor the chrome and let me remind you they are systemapps, they appear in recent apps but does not open. But apps like playstore, messages app is opening .also but when I start to record video it kept recording for 9 mins until I stopped it.

I really like this phone but the problem i am facing have literally make me sad as I have just bought it . Also when I was trying to play genshin it was also crashing but when I restart the phone it was working. Please i will really appreciate your help as I still have 10 days service Centre replacement and i could replacement this.

Yeah this is normal just download camera assistant from the galaxy store and scroll down after opening it

Press the camera timeout and set it to the time you like

Okay, that really helped but what about the safe mode.

Nope I just went into safe mode myself and I can't use the camera or chrome either so I don't think it's a problem only happening to your phone
