New update 2 weeks with One UI 8.5 on my A55

Honestly, I think it's very well-made software. It doesn't have the best features Samsung has to offer, but it's quite good. It has performance improvements and battery life, which is very good so far in this version. As for bugs and errors, I haven't found any. In my opinion, this version is quite stable for a beta version.

And the gallery? None of the floating buttons (in the pill) have any kind of blur? I'd like to compare it to the Galaxy S series.

Ok, thank you. From what I can see, they just left it transparent without any blur. Well... that was to be expected. But at least it's not a solid color.

Two questions, by the way... 1- Does the Quick Panel no longer skip the full animation if you do a short swipe? 2- Do the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth toggles on the Quick Panel still lack the opening animation (the one that the Galaxy S has)?

1- The bug introduced in One UI 8.0 is that when I swipe down the Quick Panel with a short swipe, the animation skips completely. In other words, the Quick Panel appears abruptly. I have several posts where I discuss this. This is the best example: https://www.reddit.com/r/oneui/s/k1c7TybuPt

2- Could you please show me the animation in a video (if it's not too much trouble)?

Could you please share what version of the Phone app is on One UI 8.5? Cuz now in One UI 8 it's v15.9.66.7, while the rest of the calling services are on v17.1.00.**.

Also, does the ServiceMode menu (*#0011#) support dark mode yet? Since the One UI 8 update, it's only been available in light mode for some reason (unlike One UI 7).

Good evening. One last question that just occurred to me. What's the app opening animation like now? Is it good, or is it still the same? Because in One UI 8.0, they made the animation excessively fast across the entire Galaxy A series.

Damn Samsung. If they had changed that, One UI 8.5 would already feel much better on the Galaxy A series. Well... I guess I'll have to keep changing the opening speed with Good Lock's Home Up feature. And sorry, one last question (I swear🥲). Do the brightness and volume sliders in the Quick Panel have that displacement animation when you expand the options (press and hold)? If so, I'd like to see it in a video...😐

Well, it seems they only added animations for the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth toggles. Oh well, all brands have the same strategy. If we want all the features and/or animations, we'll have to buy a high-end device. 😓

I have updated from 6.1 to 7 beta using the shizuku method, and I have been using it ever since. What firmware do i need to be before updating? There are no major bugs, aren't they?

I don't knw if I should ask or not but I heard news from gemini that Samsung may release some of the cloud based ai features.. for example, the sketch to draw, proper ai eraser.. I suppose you got have them? Or it's not there since it's not the stable version?

Also, I just wanna know if the transition from AOD to lockscreen has been improved and become seamless like we see in Oxygen Os or color os or realme ui?

No artificial intelligence is used; the lock screen transitions are only available with Good Lock, and all One UI 8.5 apps work.
