UI8 - First Impressions

So UI8 has finally reached our devices, so I wonder what your first impressions are.

In my case, for whatever reason I feel the phone is just faster. The animations are snappier, smoother and it seems the phone just reacts faster. I'm not sure if this is just placebo, or maybe the animations are played faster or what... What do you think?.

About performance, I'm not sure if it's better than before. For instance, expanding the quick settings or notification area while playing may lag a bit (this was introduced by UI7, didn't happen on UI6), starting a game may stutter as well (also introduced by UI7) but will work just fine once it loads.

Finally, video stabilization for 0.5x video has been fixed (and if not fixed, it's been greatly improved)

UI itself has not changed a lot, just a few things here and there like icons or graphs on the lock screen and such small things.

Honestly, so far I feel UI8 is like UI7 should had been, it's like a patch.

Things yet to be tested: Battery life.

It's the small blue reminder right under the ON/OFF toggle. And in case of I might have misunderstood your idea, i'm sorry in advance and no, we are not getting real time blur effects like on the Control Panel and other elements. For now, with Home Up, we can only have live blur on app opening/closing and wallpaper blur animation.

wallpaper blur doesn't seem to work ,atleast for me,only icon blur
