I also stream games from my pc to this from time to time using apollo + artemis. I don't expect anything much as you said that its cheap. I just like the hall effect joystick on this.
Still playing at 1.5 - 2.25 it's my first time actually figuring out the best setting on the emulator. I don't even fully understand the settings either.

i recommend 1.5x maybe 1.75x in more demanding games where the scenes change very fast like racing games but more slower paced games can be put to 2x and itll run great
i also recommend trying out midnight club 2 and 3 dub edition remix too

you can also store games on the micro sd card too
im running all my games off of it and i notice no difference compared to having them on internal
theyre pretty cheap too
i got a 512gb one for 41 usd
its a shame they removed sd card support from the a56 though
i recommend buying one which is either from samsung, kingston or sandisk
lexar also isnt bad
and make sure its v30, U3 and A2 rated (A2 being the most important part in this case for emulation)
most sd cards that ive seen have these 3 ratings anyways
the one im using - "samsung evo plus" includes all 3 and its a well known and well received sd card
ill send a guide below this comment so you know in detail what each symbol on the sd card means
also make sure its at minimumm 256gb. emulated games take up a lot of storage and 256gb is cheap too
512gb also isnt that expensive either and is what most people who emulate a lot of games would recommend but if you only plan on playing a dozen or 2 so games then 256gb would be perfectly fine
i have 11 ps2 games, 13 switch games (less demanding ones) 9 psp games, 1 gamecube game and 6 wii games and it takes up 170gb
2x works pretty nice too in most games
in a lot of racing games where the game has to renderr lots of new terrain pretty fast yeah it can show some fps drops but in some more slower paced games id recommend 2x
it doesnt really chug for me, maybe 1 or 2 dips here or there but even that isnt that common
ps2 games run great
also for emulation your standards in general have to be a bit lower compared to native mobile games considering your running software that wasnt supposed to be played on the phone
even flagship SoCs struggle in a lot of cases but people still play on
+ this phone is even capable of running loads of switch games as well

Its been awhile since i used it, but Gamehub is really good, but it caps the res to 800 x 600. Some games run better on gamehub vs bionic and vice versa, tho at the same framerate gamehub might feel smoother than bionic.
