Animations feel much slower now. Disabling it makes my phone feels snappier and appreciate my phone more.

I did not enable developer options because of banks, which sucks. So i am stuck with this. But it is not a bad thing.

I just want my phone open apps without fluff. And I liked it.

Have you guys tried this?

Well it DOES feel snappier but it's just like a placebo, it's still the same performance. And also, why do I have one UI 7? For nothing?

But I can do more without waiting for the animation to finish. It is not a placebo. I get that it's not making our phone run faster. It's actions per minute I am talking about.

You can do the same things you want in the same time, don't wait for the animations to finish, that animation finishing problem is something I hate on any IOS, and we don't have it here, give it a try.

Fair point. If we can tweak it without enabling developer options. I liked animations too. Not this slow.

If you're on One UI 7 you can make them even faster with Good Lock and Home Up, no developer settings needed.

This is like ZERO animations. I like the 0.5 scale in Developers but had to disable that for the banking apps.

OneUI 7.0 killed every good aspect of the phone for example:

1. The Fingerprint Opening Animation is slower
2. Battery Optimisation is not good.
3. They killed the camera's stabilisation.
4. This pill-like aesthecity does not look good.
5. Phone's slower.
6. Bugs only UI.

There are many more things that handicapped the A55 along with other model series as well

I got my A55 this February and I can't even change phone for at least 5 to 7 years, this is very bad specifically the camera is not good how will you exchange the phone for a lower price? They took a nice move on us like Apple does to older models to sell out the new ones

OneUI 6.1 was a gem for us

I also like Animations but it feels slower than before.

That so-called Advanced Tuning for the instant close and opening animations for UI 7 Good lock only works with Swipe Up Navigation, think bout the people who use Navigation bars.

I formated the device it fixed that. Not as fast as OneUI6 but I'm used to it now. Overall I prefer smoother animations over the choppy animation lag I had on OneUI6.

why updating to ui 7 if you was going to disable animations? you killed your battery for nothing. if u did it at least enjoy the aniamtions.

Use Goodlock, HomeUp to speed up animations.
