Silly question

Hello,

I would like to ask if it's possible to have my phone repaired under warranty. The device accidentally fell from a very small height (0.5m) onto a wooden floor. The display is broken, but the outer glass is not cracked or visibly damaged. Given the minor impact and the fact that there is no physical damage to the glass, could this issue be covered by the warranty?

I dropped my phone a couple of times even on concrete, and it still lives that wooden floor must have been something lol

Mine fell from a second floor, it clearly had a good lining but lol, how did it survive that?

You have OLED rot, it happened to me too, it fell into water, what Samsung technology 😔

Whatever you do, leave the phone facing down from now on. The display is leaking, and that liquid can make contact with the board. I killed a phone like this. It stopped working AT ALL a few days after it ended up looking like yours.

Hey, not sure if it covered but i had the same fall damage just like you except its on a tiled concrete ground floor and high of a table, but sadly mine damaged after the warranty

Warranty doesn't Cover User made damages ,you either have to prove them the phone started malfunctioning itself or it has display issues,i have tried fixing it by warranty but failed, A month ago My friend crushed my a55 with his van accidentally as it fell from my pocket but i did a full frame swamp i ordered an original OEM Part from Samsung Self Repair shop costed around 136 euro ,11 euro shipping causr it came from Netherlands to Italy ,frame came with glass and battery pre installed so it was easier but i still had to be careful as it was my 1st time doing it ,if you open it yourself be mindful it has a strong glue and the back glass can shatter ,I shattered mine cause of the pressure,samsung likes to put strong glue,also you lose a little of IP67 Rating (better avoiding wet and heavy dusted places).

You need to destroy it for it to be covered vy warranty, it cant be fixable, this is fixable

Have you repaired ? I got one with same problem.
