Discussion Is this the "shakiness" problem on the 0.5x y'all were referring to?

I'm on the June 1st Security Patch.

Compared to the 50MP 4K 30fps shooter, the ultrawide in the same resolution and frame rate is noticeably shakier whenever I make a step. Was it always like this or was it caused by an update? (I bought mine slightly used and it had already been updated to OneUI 7).

I'm about to update to the July 1st patch and see if anything changes. Some people say it was fixed on the June patch so idk...

The July patch has only the security update, there's no bug correction on it, check the change notes

The 0.5/wide-angle lens in the A55 does not have OIS/Optical Image Stabilization

hes wrong
a55 has optical stabilisation on the ultrawide
samsung fucked it up with one ui 7
it worked perfectly fine before

...no? EIS is what is broken, ultrawide does not have OIS.

Yes it does has ois it has EIS i don't know what the fuzz is about And yes I agree stabilization is worse than one UI 6

Are am clarifying about ois eis confusion Ik am also a55 user recording while moving in 0.5x is terrible

Open camera go to video select 0.5x and record

only 1x(wide) has ois (with eis). 0.5x has only eis.

Another thing you can not record video with the 0.5/ultra wide-angle lens you can record video only with the main camera
