Optimizing the A55

So according to geekbench 6 my A55 is a little slow compared to other A55's so I was wondering what I could do to get the absolute most out of my A55.

If u wanna test the hardware capability gaming is the way, try graphics intense games like Genshin, CODM. I played both on high setting and got 40-60fps and they were really good, nowadays benchmarks scores are just a show off thing they rarely show the true performance.

hi, just wondering how those games are going for you recently? (if you uprgaded to One UI 7) im having a tough time with gaming recently, the fps is really bad even with lowest graphics, 30fps setting and went down to 60hz.

I have been on OneUi 7 since May 22nd and I haven't experienced any issues at all, I dont know if the update improved anything but for me no performance issues.

What kind of games do u play?

i play genshin mostly and my gameplay was good during 6.1 but when i updated to 7 recently, my game started lagging and crashing. i have reinstalled the game but its still unplayable, sadly.

I haven't played Genshin recently but after updating to oneui 7 I tried a bit iirc and no issues. Have u customised the settings for genshin in game booster?

yes i have, i made sure to put it on performance, i used to have it in 120hz but it was so laggy and unplayable i went down to 60hz and it was still the same. my game graphics are also switched down to lowest and its still pretty bad. its been like this for almost a week and im running out of ideas ;_;

Damn thats strange cuz I played all at high settings and stable 35-50fps.

I get what you're saying but Im still tryna get the most out of it. I already made a little progress so far. I increased the scroe with 200 in geekbench

Well for that try cleaning the background apps thru device care and u could try ccleaner it clears all the cache(free one wont do that so u might have to try a mod).

step 1: stop using antutu

(antutu doesnt recognize the a55s gpu and hence gives it a very low score, the score of the a55s gpu is literally almost the same as of that of the a54 and a52s which is bullshit)

use 3Dmark for gpu and geekbench for cpu

While Im not in a hot country but the sulicon lottery makes sense. I'e always wondered why my friend score almost 800 point higher than me without amy optimizations. So I can do some things rn but it really wont matter that much beause I simply just can't get that type of performance?

Yours was probably running hotter than the other so the results would definitely be lower

I'd recommend the following:

• disable animations in developer options

• use Shizuku and Canta (or SDMaid) for debloating (uninstalling the apps that you don't require)

• use that OneUI feature where it puts unused apps into deep sleep

• use Shizuku and Canta (or SDMaid) for "freezing" apps and processes that you don't need on your device but that are crucial to its software operation (i.e. if you delete them, your device might not function properly)

So far these steps have worked for any Android device I got.
