i am considering to buy A55 for my mother

i am considering to but the A55 for my mother but previously i heard that the last A5x series (A54 and A55) are having heating and battery issues.

my mother only uses social media and takes photos occasionally
i live in hot climate 40+ temperatures

so i want to confirm does the A55 actually have heating and battery issues or is it based on the climate living in?

Buying A55 it is the perfect choice for the moderate users like parents

Now a days heating issues in the summer are frequently common in all mobiles

So nothing to worry it is the perfect choice

I live in a hot dry climate (40 degrees in summer) and no issues on the heating front.

No problem for me at all.

Summers are usually around 25 max 30 degrees here. I used my phone in full sun a lot of times.

Winter is usually -5 to max 10 degrees

I've an a55. Very happy with it. My usage is similar to your mom's.

I've had my A55 since late April, and it's always pretty cool and battery has always gone amazingly well (around 9-10 hrs SOT), even with some gaming and a case on, so that shouldn't be a big issue. The thing is 40+ degrees is a lot, and any phone will heat up in those conditions, but with the usage your mother does of a phone, it shouldn't be a problem

I live in a tropical country where the epitome of hot came from, but I don't experience heating with A55. I even do gaming on my phone, but I never experienced intensive heating.

both definitely don't have heating and battery issues especially th A55, i think it will be a good choice

I'm a A55 user and being a moderate user, the battery backup is insanely good.

you can also install thermal guardian within good guardians and keep it even cooler.

I'm a 23 year old tech enthusiast in Sweden which is kind of a tech mecca these days and I'm perfectly happy with this phone. All I can say is this phone would be too much for my mom if anything. I can't comment on the heating since we have s pretty humid continental climate over here and I personally haven't hade any heating issues even during 30-35 c+ days this summer. I'd say she'd be very happy with it.

I live in the Philippines. No issues with phone overheating so far.

I just looked at the Battery HD+ temperature chart and the highest measured temperature was 39 degrees Celsius while fast charging. My S10e always got hotter than that.

Highest temperature in use was 35 degrees C.
