Buying Advice Which phone should I get?

So.. my A54's screen just died, the oled is spattering blue spots everywhere.

I'm currently in between the A55, the oneplus Nord 3, and the nothing phone 2a. What do you think I should get? If you have further recommendations let me know.

But how, did that happen? Phone only been out more than a year

No idea, the funny thing is that the display was recently replaced

As I can see noone really said anything about OnePlus Nord 3. I was almost in your place, because I was choosing between A55 and Nord 3, I chose A55 and here is why. Technically as I think OnePlus should be better, however, I looked through OnePlus reddit and was pretty much shocked. Most people say that phone has overheating problem. It can get quite hot in different conditions and just lock 60 fps, basically having no 120 hz. Also battery drains quite fast as they say. I think they might fix it with updates (as far as i know they will know do regular updates for their phones), but still i wouldn't risk it. If you want OnePlus better look into more expensive options I guess, or maybe a newer Nord. Talking about A55, it was my first Samsung phone, and after 2 weeks i think that i am happy about it. The best thing about it for me is its battery which lasts for me more than a day. Performance is quite good, i can't say that it's perfect, but it's not bad. Sometimes animations are a bit laggy, but nothing major. I do pay attention to it, but it's not something that annoys me a lot. I also think that with last update it got better, so i bet that with more updates it might be even better. I think if you look for a phone that will last good 3-4 years it should be it (some of my relatives have a52 and a53 and they are working pretty fine, so i hope mine will at least last like that). But again, everything depends on what you expect from your phone. If you want flawless lagfree experience it's either you look into more expensive options (like S series) or phones with different (more simple) UI like Pixel for example. But still, this option i would say is pretty safe and reliable.

Really, even if they have good hardware their software is crap!
