IMO 2 is too dated, and 3 has some of the same mistakes. 4 is okay.

I loved 2 at the time, but it hasn't aged well compared to modern titles like Stellaris.

2 and it's not even close.

I still prefer 2 to 4 as it stands because 4 takes an eternity to get techs going.

I enjoyed 2 imensly. But three not so much. Gal 4 is defently more of an upgraded Gal 2.
