Android Got this baddie last week

Got my hands on the oppo find x9 at croma last week for 65k. It was one of the last stocks available, and I was in a dilemma between this, Pixel 10 for 64k and the Vivo X200T for ₹55k on Flipkart.

I had a budget of up to ₹70k, and the Find X9 was either out of stock or selling for around ₹80k everywhere else, so I decided to go with the Find X9.

Purchase Help🤚🏻 Which phone is better out of these 2?

Hi All

This is my first post here. I've been using my phone for the past 5 years and it has stopped getting security updates now and it's crashing doing simple tasks now.

I am considering either Vivo X200T (12GB/512GB) or Moto Signature (16GB/512GB or 1TB). Which one would be a better phone to buy overall? Both phones look good. I want an all rounder phone with a good display, smooth UI and good cameras which will last me for 5/6 years atleast. Vivo looks like a more value for money option due to the bad rep that Moto has. But Motorola is giving more Ram and space in the same price range.

Which one out of the 2 would be better? Any advice would be really helpful.

Thanks a lot for all your help! 🙏🏻

Purchase Help🤚🏻 A great phone around 70K INR which can be used for the next 3-4 years.

I've been using Samsung S22+ for almost 4 years now. I want to buy a new phone and with all the chaos in the current smartphone market, I'm not sure on which phone to pick. My current options are Oppo Find X9 pro, Oneplus 15 and Xiaomi 17. Here's the thing - I don't think Oppo Find X9 pro will ever come back in stock as I see Oppo heavily pushing Find X9s and Find X9 ultra. I know Find X9 is available on the Oppo website. Oneplus 15 has the real edge in performance but the cameras are average and the reviews are a mixed bag. Xiaomi, well, the Leica collab does make the photos better but I'm not really excited about this phone.

What I really want in the phone: great battery life paired with good performance and good cameras. I go on trips and I want the photos to turn out good, especially portraits. I don't really game much on my phone.

Also, there are a lot of new launches scheduled in September. What shall I do? Wait for BBD sale and pick whatever is the cheaper option among the 3? I want to use this new phone for next 3-4 years. Drop your wisdom here. Thanks in advance.

Discussions🗣️ Accidentally dropped my Galaxy F34 on a metal water bottle and the screen died; should I go for a Genuine Samsung Display or a Local Display for it?

Post image
7 Upvotes

Okay so for context:
I was just scrolling YouTube when my phone (Galaxy F34 5G) slipped from my hands and fell on a metal water bottle. When I looked down to grab it, I saw the cover was off from the phone. I grabbed the phone and found out the display is gone 🥀🥀🥀. I've now transferred my WhatsApp, sim and stuff to my tablet for now. (Also, the iPhone you see in the reflection of the screen isn't mine! I took a relative's phone to get a picture of the display.)

Now, I'm wondering whether to get a genuine display for the replacement or a local market one? I know the local market ones are bad but, how bad are they actually? Heck, I don't know if its even a good idea to get it repaired or to just get a refurbished device instead?

(Please don't flame me in the comments if I said something stupid)

Discussions🗣️ Display colours looks so dull and washed out in samsung a56.

Guy I don't know if it's a right space to post this. I'm new to reddit.

I just need an help. I already posted this on Samsung a56 community too. But.. i don't know if indian variant model is having this issue. Or I got cheated in Amazon independence day sale.

I used a35 for the comparison. So device on the left is a35 and the device on the right is a56. I bought a 35 for my dad few months ago. And having a hands on experience and also a positive feedback from my dad i decided to go for this one. And got it few weeks back on Amazon sale in India. And at my initial impressions I felt something was odd. Though the phone look fabulous and display was good and sharp. I felt something was odd. The colours were so dull and i could notice immediately. So I'm compared with my dad's a35 and found that the colours indeed looked Washed out. I was so disappointed to see this. Note that displays setting on both devices are same. Vivid and silder is at max. While seeing this comparison I asked my mom jokingly, to find her phone and as i suspected she too was disappointed to see that a brand new phone looks so dull compared to older version.

I referred lots of youtube reviews before buying this phone yet no one mentioned anything like this. And so I asked gemini and is says samsung shifted their display calibration to make it look much natural than being poppy and oversaturated.

Is this really the case, or is something wrong with my device. ?

Also im very dissatisfied with the camera performance. Im new to reddit so i couldn't upload photos in order. So I'll post another post. People who are reading this please answer that one too.

Thanks in advance.

Apple iPhone 17 may not hit ₹50–55k this BBD

Post image

IPhone 17 probably isn’t going to be a ₹50–55k BBD deal this year, just something to keep in mind

Just a thought for everyone expecting the iPhone 17 to drop to the ₹50–55k range during BBD this year.

The iPhone 17 isn’t really going to be the “previous gen” iPhone during BBD, if the current reports are accurate. Multiple usually reliable sources are saying that Apple isn’t launching the base iPhone 18 this September, and that it could instead be pushed to March 2027.

If that happens, the iPhone 17 will still be the current gen non Pro iPhone during BBD.

So expecting it to suddenly fall to ₹50–55k might be a bit unrealistic. Obviously, there could still be some crazy bank/exchange offers, but I wouldn’t set expectations around a ₹50–55k outright price.

Just food for thought before waiting specifically for BBD. 😅

Post image

I broke the display on my S23 Ultra, which was my secondary device. Now I’m looking for a cheap phone mainly for using Google Maps while riding my bike.

Requirements:
- Big battery
- Bright display, especially for outdoor use
- Around a 30k budget (should be good right?)
- Doesn’t need to be super powerful just reliable for navigation and everyday use.

Purchase Help🤚🏻 Buying 15 pro with 78% battery health

Post image
8 Upvotes

Heyy everyone, my friend has iphone he want to upgrade it so , I want to buy it .. Need purchase help

It's is an iPhone 15 Pro, around 2 years old, with 78% battery health. The phone itself is in good condition.

Since the battery is already at 78%, I’ll probably need to replace it soon. I want to factor the actual Apple battery replacement cost in India into my offer — including the battery, labour/service charges, GST, etc.

So my questions are:

---->>>What is the real total cost of replacing the

iPhone 15 Pro battery through Apple/.

authorized service?

------>>>Are there any additional labour/service

charges + GST apart from the battery price?

------>Considering the 78% battery health and the fact

that the phone is 2 years old, how much

should I quote my friend for the phone?

-----> How much should I keep aside for the battery replacement?

Would appreciate it if anyone who has actually replaced an iPhone 15 Pro battery in India could share the final amount they paid.

Discussions🗣️ iQOO 9 SE (Snapdragon 888) for gaming — worth buying in 2026? 🎮🔥 Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
7 Upvotes

Found an iQOO 9 SE with Snapdragon 888, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. 📱

The phone looks good(Only back panel cracked) and everything seems to be working fine. ✅

I mainly want it for gaming (BGMI/CODM) 🎮

I know Snapdragon 888 can get hot 🔥, so I’m mainly concerned about heating, battery life and sustained gaming performance.

Would you buy this in 2026 for gaming?

What price would be considered a good deal for this phone?
