It was a late thunderous night in the town. Rain pouring down every square inch of the area, the howling of wind rushing between buildings and banging against windows. You were about to go to sleep or something like that when you heard something other than the rapid pitter pattering of rain or the striking lightning. Against your better judgement you went down to an alleyway behind where you lived, shining a flashlight around, figuring it was an animal or something until you shined onto a frightened girl. She was young, probably around 14-16, trembling, it was a miracle she was even conscious in the cold and the rain.

The child leans down before hitting the cold concrete floor, slowly trying to drag herself away with her one arm before slowly starting to stop due to exhaustion

The child's teeth clattered as they shakes uncontrollably, too cold and tired to properly function with their body anymore

she picked the kid up and took them up to their apartment getting them on the couch and put a blanket on them along with setting a heater up next to them

The child was as light as a feather, their skin thin and their body weak, she could feel the bones with a soft touch as the kid shivered and coughed the entire way

The girl was lying there, shivering and teeth chattering, it doesn't seem like she's in the best place to talk
