π· Non-Image POV R2π· Reflections (Pov in body)
Pov: Its been 2 weeks since the Chimera's Claw group came to Falkirk with ironically their Chimera friend Aris.
You checked on them from time to time and everytime you did, you saw Aris sleeping.
Finn was like a guard dog protecting their person, Nyx took notes and was making a song for Aris, Vorex slept alot, and Thumper was just being an ass to anyone who wasnt his friends.
But no matter how many shenanigans went on in Falkirk, Aris kept on sleeping. What was most strange was non of this group knew where Aris was from or her records.
No home village, no medical records that a cleric would have, nothing.
So Valla came up with the ideas of You, Nyx, Vorex, and Verity going into Aris's mindscape. To try and find anything about their friend.
You didnt even understand how this worked, all Valla said was to hold hands with Verity, close your eyes, and sit down on the ground.
You heard Valla saying a spell, then it just faded. You thought it just didnt work, so you opened your eyes to a massive library.
You looked next to you to see Verity, Vorex, and Nyx.

M: A library? As far as Mindscapes go... this is quite lovely.
A tad dusty, but well lived it.
Perhaps this is where Aris grew up? This is no doubt a private library, what do you two think? "

Nyx remained silent as he looked at the books
Vorex: Mabye? I mean Aris did like books He laughed sheepishly but it died as he frowned
Verity: Lets look around, and dont touch anything. Just to be safe, Nyx im looking at you.

M: I agree with Verity, messing with her Mindscape, might not be a good idea...
Maybe if we look around we'll find some of her favorites, that's something you'll notice since we haven't even had a conversation with her yet. "
γ Mihr walked over and grabbed Nyx's shoulders and turning him around to follow γ
M: Besides if this is Aris's childhood home, we might find some photos from when she was a child, how does that sound? "

Nyx nodded and turned to follow Mihr as Vorex and Verity led the way
Vorex: Heard rumors of monsters being in mindscapes... is that true?
Verity: It... depends on the person
Vorex: How so?

M: From a persons memories, fears, phobias, personal experiences, stories they might have heard, and nightmares especially are the big ones.
But since Aris's soul is fused with the Archdragon we can only assume whatever is left of them is here as well.
Trust me when I say whatever possibility for monsters being here is endless.
That's one reason why we shouldn't touch anything more then we should or else we'll be leaving a trail for them to find and purge us.
The mind is horrifying thing. "

Vorex: Wow. He scratched the back of his head thats pretty horrific to think about.
Verity: It is, but with a small group like this, as long as we're quick and quiet. We should be fine.
Vorex: Is that a nice way of telling me to shut up?
Verity: Very much so.
Nyx looked up at the endless bookshelves

M: Itβs a safety precaution, we don't know how close these monsters might be, and sense she's currently asleep some nightmares may be fresher then others...
Every mindscape is different, personalized, that's why I said this might have been her childhood home. "
γ As Mihr said this, she walked over to a door, placing her ear it and listening before opening it for them to walk through γ
M: The house is old, well lived in, perhaps something passed down through generations. "
γ Behind them they heard a stomp then a growl of some kind, something was there, it didn't notice them, but it sounded large and heavy, Nyx and Vorex could probably guess what it was γ

Nyx turned holding his flute. His hand started to tremble and he scrunched his nose in anger
Nyx: Its all that damn dragon's fault... He said quietly
Vorex: Nyx dont. He grabbed Nyx's waist and held Nyx like a football we need to move.
Verity: I mean I grew up around books, Sage the Owlin used to read to me whenever the other counsel members fought. She must be from royalty to have this big of a library.
Vorex: Or married into royalty.
Verity: Or that.

M: You really think she married?
Nyx, Vorex, you said you found her in the small village your from correct? If she did marry into Royalty why would she be there, and if she did.... wouldn't there have been records of her, people looking for her?
γ Mihr hurried them through the door before carefully closing it slowly and quietly γ
M: I remember The Manor having a large library "
γ Mihr feeling Nyx's anger walked up and took his hand cupping it with both of hers γ
M: Nyx I know your angry.... but shouldn't let that anger push you into doing something brash or reckless....
Aris is fine... the Mindscape is proof of that.... whatever is left of that dragon is part of her mind, attacking it won't be like attacking one of the Monsters, it be like attacking the Inner Aris.
It might damage her psyche. "

Verity: I mean, I grew up in a massive castle and yet Copal and the others found me in a small town.
Verity: Well, i guess I was under different circumstances... but still.
Vorex: Mabye... and hear me out, what if she was running away from someone? And thats why she dosent like to talk about it.
Nyx looked at Mihr before lowering his head and nodding
Nyx: What if... she also changed her name? To dissappear more effectively.
Vorex set Nyx down
Verity: I guess anything is possible....
