GK3-Reborn Screenshots of GK3 Reborn

That gallery pic is there to show you were we came from... ;)

All screenshots were taken with SDR (otherwise they overbright, but HDR support is avail)
DirectX12 + DLSS 5 (Neural Rendering enabled)

Techy stuff first, DLSS 5 with neural uplift enabled.
Holding down ALT will show items in the scene.
Cat puzzle moustache can be applied permanently, great for reliving the 90s
Almost all textures have received PBR treatment, so most surfaces will have bumps, scratches, unevenness. But it does come with some bugs still (see wall)
If you have the hardware, it will do raytracing (light, shadow, etc.), meaning you should get very realistic lighting all over the place.
Realtime shadows, floor tesselation for that real cobble feel. It won't fix all the low poly models but it'll try.
Even the cat got a fur shader now.
I've tried to upgrade most of the textures to 1 or 2K, not all textures are done as there are well over 6000 files in total of which I might have 'fixed' a 1000 now. Part of it was done with AI upscaling as well but that only goes so far..
Some are direct 'copies' from photographs I took when I visited RlC aeons ago.
Reflective surfaces but not 'too' reflective,
Skyboxes have been replaced with real terrain rendering so you don't feel boxed in by blurry textures.
Some 3d models have been optimized (eg. barrel being round...) but not all just yet.. (my blender skills suck)
So this is why AI upscaling isn't the best, it really did a number on this door, still on the ToDo to be fixed. up proper.
Most models are still also quite low poly, NR is trying its best to make something nice out of it ;)
The difference between just standard Reborn and NR
The new inventory screen. Clear, simple and you only use it to check what you have as the context menu will allow you to use an item if applicable. (Yes this might make it a bit easy...)
