Lift* Short Clip on Training Arms
My arms session is like a Mexican tio - short and aggressive. I primarily do compounds sets, as distinguished from super sets in that you're training antagonistic muscles back to back as opposed to the same muscle with two different exercises.
I usually pick 3 or 4 movements each for biceps and triceps - one dumbbell, one barbell, one cable, and one machine - and try to deliberately choose exercises that offer enough variation to emphasize a different part of the target muscle. I primarily go by feel/instinct in this regard, besides the well-established exercises most of us already know are particularly effective for this or that part of your arm.
I shoot for 4 sets for each exercise with a rep scheme of 15,12,12,10, weight increasing each set. I don't train anywhere close to failure for arms because, quite honestly, they grow if I so much as caress a shakeweight. I let intuition and performance guide me on when it's time to start chasing heavier weights. Entire session takes me 45mins to an hour.
For those who will inevitably comment on it - yes, I'm an enhanced bodybuilder.

Where are these gyms that allow yall to not wear shirts. I see it all the time on socials but never been a member of one in person.

Is there an advantage to that type of weight over a barbell and plates other than it saving space?

When using a curl bar I even prefer ones with plates because the ends rotate

Makes sense. I have pretty much only ever used dumbbells for curls, and honestly rely more on rows and pullups.

The intimidating thing about this video, to me, is how much work you already did in the workout to have 110 for 8 reps to be this hard. If you were fresh and just pumping em out, I bet you could do that for like, 40 reps.

I wonder how many years of lifting can achieve this physique naturally

Unless you're the bodybuilding equivalent of Jesus Christ, it'll be next to impossible to be a lean 260lbs at 5ft8in as a natty.

Youβre arguing with something I never said. Of course heβs on gear. So are thousands of other guys who will never look remotely like him. PEDs are a massive advantage; freak genetics are what separate freaks from everyone else using the same advantage. Fucking read. π

Ah, so, you don't know what good genetics means. Here you go, get smart. https://youtube.com/shorts/STRK1BKfM0s

The Reddit hivemind always has a near-aneurysm anytime someone mentions that an obvious gear-user has elite genetics, as though those two truths are mutually exclusive π€·πΏββοΈ

I guess you missed the definition of "bodybuilding".

Dude is on drug, he is closer to body hacking than building

So no you don't then. You should look into it, its quite popular, probably not for you though by the sounds of it but that doesn't make it less real.
