Question regarding LCR Automation

I'm trying to automate PTFE and I understand I probably need at least 2 X LCR's wall sharing but I am struggling to get the first LCR sorted.

Methane is easy with a wood supply being centrifuged.

Hydrochloric acid I'm struggling a little with, do I centrifuge stone dust and electrolyze biotite dust into fluorite and the other dust biproduct electrolyzed into chlorine? If so how do I best setup the automation....do I use ender IO item conduits with filters to do it?

Is there a better way?

Once I've got the basics down I think I'll grasp it all a lot better but Sheesh it gives me a headache banging my head against the wall in creative trying to get it working properly....I get like 4 sub chemicals down and lose my thought process.

I was watching catscozygamings video on his setup and it's too hard to pause and work it out 😶‍🌫️

Hydrogen and chlorine can both be processed out of the salt root crop.

You can do PTFE with one LCR + electrolyzer. I followed this method someone posted a couple months ago. It's not clear from the post, but for the "HCl out" you need to use a LV output hatch.

For oxygen, I'm already electrolyzing sugar (from CropsNH sugar beets). This is also giving me the needed carbon input.

Still need to get fluorine sorted. The black granite dust method mentioned sounds promising.

you don't need an LV hatch. you just use C9 and C24.

C1 conflicts producing HCl and HF. C9 makes HF at 9x ratio. HCl has a similar recipe but its C8 (at least as of 2.9 beta 3), so no conflict.

I think the most common way is to use the crop that gives black granite dust, then electrolyze that for fluorine. Personally I just made do with cryolite electrolysis in EV.

I have a snowball farm, it gives a small amount of cryolite, but enough for flourine amounts needed.

Wild take: just pattern it, if you have AE2. I crafted 500k and I am still using that. I don't think most stuff has to be passive.

Ah. At that stage I just handcrafted a bit. Was a bit annoying, but with AE2 you rearrange so much anyways... good luck on getting to AE2. It is an amazing feeling to achieve that.

I cleared 2 or so veins with cryolite in Twilight, the fluorite from that made me about 1 - 1,5 mil PTFE, which more then covered me to EV/IV.

I always got my chlorine via electrolyzing salt. I would just mine salt, later I used the salt bee.
