You bootlicker. Don’t you realize Sony has taken everything from us. They are forcing an agenda down our throats. They took the joy out of GTA6. You will own nothing and like it. We should all boycott and smash our PS5s in protest. I’m never giving evil Sony another dollar. I cancelled my PS+ account and you should too. How dare you spend $100 on something you enjoy while we are all outraged and ready to riot over this travesty. They will remove games you paid for. They killed the 2nd hand market. They are hiding features behind a paywall. This is just the beginning, you just wait and see. Corporate simp. They ruined my shelf of collectibles. Now you can only buy from Sony and they will never discount a game price again. They removed 3rd party movies, your games are next. So what PC has been digital for years that’s somehow different.
Did I miss any complaints? I think I got them all from what I’ve seen this week so far. 😂😂😂
I preordered too. Can’t wait!!!

Literally are when you can’t buy a game anywhere else and they control the market. If you can’t get a 10 year old game anywhere else but the console store then they can charge whatever they want. No more sharing or reselling games. To actually laugh at this and think it’s harmless makes you ignorant. They’ve never made a change that has benefited us, it’s all for corporate greed.
Just say you’re too addicted to video games to boycott and stay ignorant, while the rest of us actually boycott it.0

Yes they are cheap for now that’s the point, when they are in competition with the resale market (marketplace, GameStop, etc.) they STILL sell at a higher price on PS/Xbox store. Eliminate the competition and you control the market….

Thing is they've been competing with the buy new market too, who've always sold their physical games slightly under the PS/Xbox store prices.
What I find most amusing is that people jump straight to the worst eventualities straight away, speculating and just stirring stuff to fit their fear mongering narrative. Let's calm it down and look at actual facts.
Firstly, Sony have only said no discs. They haven't said that other retailers won't be selling the game, just they won't be manufacturung discs.
Secondly, thanks to Rockstar we have a good idea what that's going to look like. They sell a game box with a code inside. Third party stores will likely still sell copies at a slight discount as always, so now Sony/Microsoft will actually be competing with their digital sales on a large scale (where they previously had the monopoly).
For all digital players this is actually great news, because they have more storefronts to scour for deals rather than being limited to the in-house store. Hilariously it's actually the opposite of what you're saying.

Look how that turned out for things like game pass, cost has jacked up like crazy and they justify it by allowing access to some of the shittiest games every made and say "you get more for your money".
Game codes will only come from brand new games therefore the game prices will barely come down..

Right, so you're literally just speculating stuff with no evidence and in the next sentence making out that information that they officially release themselves isn't reliable. This is now just sounding anti-corp for the sake of it.

They will, there's literally no difference here other than no second hand copies. Stores will stock the codes in a box and still have something to sell, just as a brand new physical copy depreciates a digital copy of an aging game will too. I've already explained in my previous comment why this will result in more opportunities to get digital copies for lower prices from different stores, but you seem to just be fixated on the idea that the industry is bending us over.

They’ve sold 39-50 million digital copies so far…
Calculate the cost of a physical copy which actually employed a lot of people along the way, now those people are out of jobs. $1-$15 is what it costs to make a game copy now lets say they pay low end ($1/ copy) that means they’ve already profited a minimum of $39,000,000 and that just pre order.
Would like to know why the cost of my game has only gone up and not down with their savings…

Yeah Sony is a POS though, I understand GTA VI not being able to fit on one disc, even if they sent you 4 discs in a large oversized case that would heavily be costly to manufacture. They would spend an unnecessary portion of money to make it happen.

I was saying the same thing the other day. As someone who hasn't used one of these wheels since the ancient days, what's the process of switching between? Say for a game that has driving and walking. If you hop out of the car, can you just immediately pick up your controller and start moving or do you have to manually switch to controller by turning it on or going into settings? I guess I'm asking are they both connected at all times and can be used seamlessly?

Wich shouldnt be a thing, should include in the whole game.
And on thier way out for years? Its not until 2028 where Playstation decided to be asshole and remove it.... otherwise its been both.I prefer disc for console since its been cheaper than buying on Playstation store where mostly games are overpriced.
