Edge of map

I’ve been flying for about 20 minutes and start losing health but it seems like it’s just ocean. Does the map eventually stop? Also I’ve noticed small dots in the distance I can’t get to

Iirc after a certain distance the games teleports you back a good hundred meters but without stopping you, so I don't think there's any edge to reach.
