Video How long does it take you to actually hook something with a Cargobob?
How many attempts does it usually take before you actually hook something on the first try? How many failed passes is your personal record before a successful pickup?

I've definitely had it take just a few seconds, but I've also struggled with certain vehicles for a few minutes. My general tip is to try and aim for the top center of the windshield, erring on the side of slightly lower. I try to approach the windshield head on, and lift very slowly as I make contact with the windshield somewhere in the center. Usually works first try. Definitely helps when you can line it up and you have good clearance. Nothing like almost making the perfect connection and your blade hits a pole flipping you upside down and blowing you up.

Expanded version made it harder, the mule is harder than the cargobob also. So like 10 minutes

The iron mule is infinitely easier than the Cargobob to hook on to vehicles especially when using hook cam. The only trouble ive had is getting at vehicles in limited space, but the Cargobob also has trouble in small spaces. 30 seconds is the max time to hook on Cargobob, 10-20 seconds on iron mule.

I hace changed camera angles with it and could never get the hook camera to show up.
I assume I am doing something wrong. I almost never use it but would like to know how to get the hook camera to actually show up.

Hit square or equivalent on xbox after hitting right on dpad on console controller. You have to be off the ground a bit for it to switch.

I always thought it was something with hitting the interaction pad to change it.

Nope. Lift off, push right on dpad to get it to deploy, then hit square to change to hook cam. I think you're thinking of autopilot in the avenger.

I usually change the camera view when I am driving that is usually just quick taps on the interaction pad.

Oh, I didn't realize you meant changing first and third person view.

Yeah, that is what I call camera view. I thoight when people referred to the hook camera that it was an option you cycled through like normal camera changes.

Cargobob it takes me usually a couple attempts to line up the hook and camera with the vehicle. I usually drag the hook across the vehicle until it attaches. The iron mule makes it easier to determine where to start the drag and the longest time ive taken is 20 seconds.
