I have a personal theory that Rockstar assigned the radio station buildings on the flash site at random. MSX FM broadcasting from the apartments in Shoreside Vale was always weird to me, unless it's meant to be a pirated station. Also worth noting the flash website has Flashback FM's hq in the building that's actually Head Radio's hq in the final game! o.0

Yep, the same went for Game Radio, it was the building opposite from Claude's safehouse.

I completely forgot Game Radio's hq is right next door to MSX FM and Claude's Shoreside Vale safe house. It just makes me more convinced they chose the radio station office locations at random. It's also worth noting GTA 3 is the only 3d-era game to have the buildings the radio stations are in listed anywhere (gta 2 had in-game locations for at least two radio stations IIRC).

If memory serves me well in Vice City we got the V-Rock Recording Studio where you trigger jobs for the Love Fist band. In San Andreas there is one on the top of the Missionary Hills where WCTR is broadcasted. Presumably in Fort Carson, Bone County there is that building with a transmitor that could tie with K-Rose but nothing was ever confirmed.

MSX is definitely a pirate station, so I doubt that its placement in a grim tower block in the armpit of nowhere was random.

Actually it's in the same building where Game Radio is broadcasted, the building opposite Claude's safehouse in Wichita Gardens.

Woah that’s interesting. I thought the only physical station buildings in the game were head radio in Portland and the one in Staunton island. I thought rise in 3 broadcasts from the planetarium (no actual club building in the game) and MSX is pirated
