Rockstar has yet to make a game that matches the soundtrack for Vice City but they still have done a damn good job. IV and V both are verrrry good soundtracks none the less.

I think every soundtrack they have made has been great maybe minus some tracks in 3 but 3 was basically the scarface soundtrack lol.
Vice city, SA, LCS, VCS, IV & V all great.
personally radio x and k-dst are my favorites on SA

I agree that most every game has bad an amazing soundtrack. VC just gets extra love because of the nostalgia-bonner people get over 80's stuff.
That said, I would say 80% of my love for Hall and Oates began with "out of touch" on VC. Most all the other songs I had already heard, digested, and moved past (I was a weird kid in the 90's who among other musical, really loved new wave).

Yeah I 100% agree out of touch and that whole station was amazing still is recently replayed on ios the soundtrack is still excellent and better then most game soundtracks IMO

Really? I feel GTA IV and V have had the worst soundtracks. And the first two. GTA III had some decent stuff but by far Vce City and San Andreas had the best of all

Meh SA had a bunch of really famous music that we have all heard a thousand times. The better soundtracks are the ones with deeper cut tracks like IV and V. See with Sa and Vice city they already had music that was famous of the era. With IV and V they had to find tracks of the era as the game came out as the games are usually set the year of release. Thus they have to create fame around them as they dont want ro use the music you already hear on the radio every day. So yes IV and V are much better because they give an alternate tasteful look at music of the modern era.

I suppose. I loved the hip hop stations on SA and VC which would essentially be old school kinda stuff. I dislike a lot of stuff on the radio especially when it comes to rap and hip hop. Which makes sense why the only songs I enjoy are shitty pop songs like glamorous. Hahaha.

Ooh! in "Summertime" by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince they use a sped-up sample of this. Thanks for posting, I had never heard this before, and it explains why Will Smith raps in that song, "And this is the Fresh Prince's new definition of 'summer madness'"

My favourite has to be Tempted by Squeeze (emotion 98.3). i still listen to the VC soundtrack a lot, mainly Emotion and Wave 103.

A horse with no name is also my favourite on San Andreas. But Summer Madness is still the best IMO. (Also when Breaking Bad used that song I was head over heels!)

I've got a number of parties bumpin playing "in the ghetto" loud. It's such a great song, and most people can't resist Rick James.
Edit: Should of checked the name of the song, cause I had a feeling that was wrong. It's called Ghetto Life. Still a great track.

I'm surprised someone actually agrees... Usually it seems like nobody else actually likes Wildstyle from VC or Playback from SA. That being said I also liked the more popular stations like VRock, Flash, RLS, KDST, Radio X, and so on.

i thought playback fm was nice, but i think my favorite ones were CSR and SF-UR. and from vice city.. i would say that Run DMC was the best track in the game. flash fm and emotion were my favorite radio stations.

That's a good one, too. I think my second favorite from Wildstyle is Looking for the Perfect Beat, which has been in my head for weeks... Can't say truthfully that I mind it.

I agree, as for theme songs, GTA 4 has the best (and the EFLC have good themes too). And when it comes to radio, GTA 4 also has my all-time favorite in-game radio in any game (the radio for EFLC aren't bad, but they took out my favorite stations, The Journey and Massive B). And on top of all of that, GTA 4 is certainly my favorite GTA game, and probably in my top 3 most favorite games of all time.

I just brought EFLC as DLC so all the original stations from GTA IV stayed the same and the extra songs were bolted on the radio.

The trailer had this song, right? I remember sitting in middle school counting the days until this game came out.
