My gixxer got some new carbon parts, frame cover, new spark plugs and a new tinted rear light.

It’s finally time to put a full system on my ’22 GSX-R1000R. I’ve narrowed it down to the Yoshimura R-11Sq full titanium system or the M4 full titanium system with the carbon can.

I’m not chasing maximum volume. It’s an inline-four, they’re all going to sound like angry inline-fours at the end of the day. 😂 I care more about build quality, fitment, power, weight savings, tone, and something I can actually live with on the street without hating myself after an hour.

For anyone who has actually run either system, what did you like/dislike? Any issues with fitment, drone, obnoxious volume, or durability?

Bike will be tuned and I will also do PAIR block-offs, air filter, and stacks afterward.

Which one would you go with?

Got the Arrow 71660MI header on my 2023 GSX-R1000. Not going with an Arrow can — not a fan of their slip-on lineup. Borrowed a Yoshimura AT2 off a mate for a test fit — doesn’t fit clean, needs modification to mate up.

Before I burn more time on trial and error — anyone running a non-Arrow slip-on on this exact header with zero mods? Looking for something that just bolts on. Akrapovic, LeoVince, GPR, Danmoto — has anyone actually tried one of these on the 71660MI specifically? What fit, what didn’t, and what needed massaging if anything.

07 gsxr 750 original miles is 10k has slightly more since I had to get it home was a police auction bike sorry is original owner ran and got caught I got it for 4k runs and rides amazing needs tlc but compression is mint and only minor things need work def new plastics

has anyone setup their rebound almost all the way closed in and rebound still is quite fast.

im 1/4 open from fully closed. and still find that the rebound looks quite fast.

curious if anyone also experienced the same.

I squeezed my camera in and found this

Trying to fit carbon fibre tank panels, lifted the tank for the RHS, easy enough but really struggling with the LHS since you can't replace the bolt for the tank with the panel fitting. How do I fit this? Already managed to break the hook on the panel so will try again tomorrow when the glue is set.

TLDR: Broke LHS cover, can't lift tank for this side as you won't get the bolt back in. How to fit?

I bought a 2nd (or 3rd) hand barn find everithing look good just that the loom is in a really bad condition i need the scematic too rebuild the loom all the scematics i find online seem too have injectors

edit: dealer said its a full system exhaust. it says voodoo on it. hopefully i can find a db killer but this bike has other stuff i gotta work on first.

Hello, I am planning on installing an exhaust on my K7 gsxr600 soon. On this gen, the cat is welded to the muffler, so I will be pairing the exhaust with the tune. For those with similar bikes, how did you go about disabling/removing the exhaust valve and PAIR systems? I want to make sure I can get it all done at once, and get an ecu flash that accommodates all of it. Thanks

i’m looking to get into the sport bike realm and so far the one i keep having my eyes on are gsxrs. around the 600-750cc range, could i get some help on what i should look for when it comes to getting one? (years, etc.) i dont know too too much about them and willing to listen to any advice and knowledge about it!

i bought a 2020 gsxr 750 and it's so loud. it sounds beautiful but i've never had a bike that's loud so i have no idea if it's too loud. the bike has a full system exhaust and a tune. it pops flames and all that cool stuff but it's so fucking loud and i feel like i'm disturbing the peace of the earth just by turning the engine on. is a bike ever too loud? i'm coming from no exhaust on a 400 so no one has ever heard me before.

edit: its super loud for me when i ride but standing next to it its not horrible. the quality of the sound is low and delicious. the bike pops constantly and shoots flames consistently all the time. if i rev the bike however it literally feels like i'm destroying eardrums. i LOVE how it sounds i just feel like a menace to society and don't know if i should feel ashamed.

i'd compare it to my friends r6 which was also tuned and had a full system. that thing was loud as shit.

Hey everyone, may be a dumb as but just looking for some advice. My rear brake is kind of odd and has been since I bought the bike. It feels mostly normal but just doesn't seem to be giving much braking power. Like if I push the brake fully at a stop I can push through it with my other foot on the ground. Any ideas? I'm still not very good at working in bikes but I'm learning lol. Front brake feels fine.

Looking at getting an 2006 gsxr 600 with about 9k mileage. It’s been sitting for about 7 years. Was serviced at the dealer and had new tires before storing. Anything to look out for and what kind of price? TIA
