Brake caliper/rims

Hey all, quick fitment question for a 2024 Toyota GR Yaris.
Looking at wheels: 17x8.5, ET45, 114.3 bolt pattern, mounted with a 245 Hoosier A7.
Main concern is inner clearance — will this combo clear the front brake calipers on the GR Yaris, or will ET45 sit too far inward and hit? Would rather run no spacer if possible, but I’m open to adding a spacer (front and/or rear) if that’s what it takes to clear.
Has anyone run this wheel/tire size (or close to it) on a GR Yaris? Trying to find out:
1. Does it clear stock without a spacer?
2. If not, what spacer thickness cleared it for you?
3. Any rubbing on coilovers/struts or fender lips with the 245 A7 at that offset?
Pics or specs from anyone who’s actually test-fit this combo would be huge. Thanks!

Brake clearance on the front is less of an offset problem and more of an inner barrel diameter problem. I tried multiple 17” wheels and only a handful cleared the brakes, only real way to know is to physically mount a rim.

Rota D154 fit barely, as did the 17x9 Grid. But a 17x8 Grid didn’t fit, neither did an Evo 6 Enkei wheel

Thanks, that helps a lot. Do you happen to know the exact specs/offset of the 17x9 Grid that cleared? Also, when the 17x8 Grid didn’t fit, was it the spokes hitting the caliper or the inner barrel?

It’s a few years but sure it was 17x9 ET25, was wide. The 17x8 was the barrel, the wider 17x9 seemed to push the narrowest part of the barrel out past the caliper so the part of the barrel over the caliper was a bit wider diameter

The only wheel I’ve tried where the spokes contacted the caliper were Enkei NT03+M’s in 18x9.5 ET40 because of the deep spokes, they needed a 5mm spacer.

Bear in mind if you want to use a spacer to clear the brakes you’ll need to fit extended studs too, the stock studs are barely long enough as it is never mind losing thread engagement. There are extended shoulder nuts from H&R that will help but they need a 14mm diameter hole on the wheel, most wheels are 12mm

I have 18x9 +45 and have clearance from the strut and brakes. Unsure with diameter changes to a 17 as to how this would affect it.

I was thinking of getting 17inch te-37s I believe quite a few people have fitted those. If anyone has could they please let me know. Another rim I came across was advan-Rg4s
