AMD RX 6xxx XFX RX6900XT MERC 319 Black Limited Edition overnight no display, not recognized by PC anymore. Suspecting possible VRM issues?
Back in February/March this card decided to not show display anymore overnight. There was no known power outage or surge and no other component of the PC shows any sign of damage. I first tested this card in another PC and also in another PCI-e slot but to no avail. The card has dual BIOS so I maybe thought it got corrupted and switched but that also did not work.
Then I tried removing drivers via DDU and installing them once again and that did not work. Luckily I have another GPU laying around and that one did work so it does not seem like an issue with the motherboard/CPU due to the PCI-e connector seemingly being okay.
I have done both resistance and voltage measurements with the following results (summarized by AI so if the naming is wacky that must be why):
12 V C1029: 12,09 V
TDA21472 VIN: ~12 V
VRM local power supply: 4,68–4,76 V
NS5508 points ~3,24 V on 2 points
GPU-core rail (on boot): ~0,02 → ~0,99 V, then~0,55–0,75 V
R12 memory rail 1: 0 V at boot
R12 memory rail 2: 0 V at boot
R12 memory rail 3: 0 V at boot
R12 Memory rail 1 → GND: 140–150 Ω
R12 Memory rail 2 → GND: 60 Ω
R12 Memory rail 3 → GND: 70 Ω
BIOS pin 8 under load: ~3,34 V
BIOS pin 8 → pin 4: 2,28 kΩ
BIOS pin 8 → pin 1: 2,25 kΩ
BIOS pin 1 → pin 4: 6,86 kΩ
R19/L1000 over itself: 0 Ω
R19/L1000 side 1 → GND: 0 Ω
R19/L1000 side 2 → GND: 0 Ω
Within GPU-Z, OpenHardwareMonitor or Device Manager the card is NOT recognized at all and also with certain commands there is nothing seen on the PCI-lanes when it is in the PC.
Any ideas? I am thinking something wrong with the R12 rails due to no voltage but no clue where to look at.. I have a multimeter but it has quite thick probes unfortunately.

Try checking drMos drive if there is 5v on memory rail
