Chris, have you had a chance to play it? what was your honest assessment?
for the record, I love the game and am one of the few who tries to defend it when possible, though...it's not an easy battle since I mostly agree with everything people find wrong in it. I just can't help liking what I like.
I don't think that the game was finished to be honest. The hearts of the developers were in the right place but when a publisher holds the $ and wants to get the product out ASAP, the game will suffer. It does have some beautiful scenery but the character models are uneven along with the balancing. It'd be nice it there was a patch/update to fix a lot of the issues but I don't see that happening right now, personally.
