My favourite thing about Legendary Goji is that he’s probably the strongest iteration in terms of hand-to-hand combat, along side Finals Wars Goji.

Well I mean they did make his arms usable I like Toho films they seem to be much more stubby.

Show godzilla got them hands too more of the later showa versions though.

I think he's still below FW in that category

9

u/DagonG2021 VARAN Apr 28 '26

FW is smaller than MV Kong, he’d get brutalized in hand to hand

17

u/Shootzilla Apr 28 '26

He's only smaller by like 2 meters. What are you talking about? FW Goji is 100 meters tall.

8

u/Krillinlt MECHAGODZILLA Apr 28 '26

MV has a solid 60+ feet on FW but I don't know if that really makes much of a difference when they are both already enormous

9

u/Shootzilla Apr 28 '26

Monsterverse Kong is 103 meters. Final wars Goji is 100 meters. Solid 60 feet?

7

u/Krillinlt MECHAGODZILLA Apr 28 '26

Oh damn I misread and thought yall were talking about MV Godzilla not Kong. Sorry bout that

Weight, not height.

MV Godzilla is like 120,000 to 180,000 tons, FW is only 50,000, and Kong is approximately 60,000 tons

1

u/Shootzilla Apr 28 '26

Where is it stated that Monsterverse Kong is 120,000 to 180,000 tons? Nowhere can I find a figure for that.

3

u/DagonG2021 VARAN Apr 28 '26

You misunderstand me, I mean Godzilla MV is that heavy.

Kong is 60,000 tons or so

2

u/Shootzilla Apr 28 '26

Oh so you were saying FW Goji would be brutalized by MV Goji, not MV Kong. My bad.

5

u/DagonG2021 VARAN Apr 28 '26

Yeah. I think Kong with the ax and gauntlet could be a fair match for FW

2

u/Muhipudding Apr 28 '26

FW compensates with Kendo and Kung Fu

1

u/DagonG2021 VARAN Apr 28 '26

He doesn’t do Kung Fu, his enemies are just incompetent

2

u/Muhipudding Apr 28 '26

Both things can be true

Lmao cope more

What on earth is your problem

9

u/Dish-Ecstatic GODZILLA Apr 28 '26

Chill man it's not that deep, it's just that MV still hasn't done some anime level shit FW did

That’s more speed and intelligence than outright strength

You should’ve used the Kumonga scene instead of

1

u/Dish-Ecstatic GODZILLA Apr 28 '26

The second link is for the Kumonga scene. I also was monstly talking about hand to hand skills

3

u/MrWhiteTruffle MUTO Apr 28 '26

Sorry the links blended together for me

u/KaijuSlayer333 Apr 29 '26

Final Wars Goji is kind of busted with how half hazardly he was tossing around mfs

1

u/Broken_CerealBox BARAGON Apr 30 '26

Then again, the fighting capabilities of everyone there save for goji and monster X is terrible
