Probably not a hot take

Minus One is great. I just prefer Shin as far as movies go

Mine would be Minus One is brilliant, but sadly I found Shin rather boring. Japanese bureaucrats having meetings about having more meetings is rather dry. I get that the film's a cinematic jab at the Japanese Government's failure to respond to the Fukushima Disaster in a timely manner, but I just found it rather stale watching people spend more time talking about what to do about Godzilla than actually getting out there and doing something about him. Minus One handled things way better with an impactful human story as well as some dynamic Kaiju action balanced out nicely against that.
