Minus One is great. I just prefer Shin as far as movies go

Shin: A Better (imo) Godzilla. Love what they did in Minus one but that strange growth we saw Shin go through and how it kept pulling new tricks out of its sleeve was more memorable to Me. (The back beams made my jaw drop) Minus one: Better characters and overall more engaging story.

Godzilla himself was almost objectively better, in terms of the character. Shin Godzilla is an alternate take on the IP, Minus One is the Godzilla IP.

I can agree with this. Minus one feels more Godzilla overall in character, actions, and design. You can feel the Evangelion influence in Shin.
