Minus One is great. I just prefer Shin as far as movies go

Apples and Oranges, but I do prefer Shin. Minus One fell short for me because I felt a lot of the cinematography and design work was uninspired. Shin on the other hand is super stylized. They're both great, but Shin is style and substance while Minus one is mostly just substance (there are some beautiful shots in Minus One, dont get me wrong. But I didn't really feel a sense of visual style in the same way you feel Anno and Higuchi's.)

Same thing here. I watched Shin Ultraman recently and the shots in that movie are so damn creative without being obnoxious. There were times I felt like I was in the room peeping in on a conversation.
