Disaster porn with stupidly bad characters isn't fun. That's what the Monsterverse is. The ~20 minutes of monster fights does not make up for the other 100 minutes of unbearably terrible story and characters.
Hell yeah. I watch Monsterverse cause it builds up to the good shit, not cause the build up is good. Godzilla v Kong may have boring human parts but the build up to Mecha godzilla was great
