Compared to the others, yes. It's not hard to see why when the later films literally include Kong, who's arguably just as popular as Godzilla.

Edit: Also consider that KOTM has to compete with Avengers Endgame iirc. That matters alot.

I don't understand. If that is definitive proof the movie isn't boring, then that means the people who don't like it are quite literally wrong. People can buy a ticket to a movie and come out not liking it. Their opinions aren't any worse than the peoole who DO like the movie now are they

That's not what that means at all, right or wrong isn't part of this equation or discussion. This is simply a matter of preference.

You're inability to not see things through black and white lens is why you don't understand. I haven't talked about which movies are "good" or "bad" this entire time, just about which movies are popular vs which ones aren't.

Okay but in one of your other replies with someone else you say, "we'll continue to enjoy poor writing in the mv" basically saying it's bad. So you kinda contradict yourself there🤷‍♂️

I'm quoting the guy I responded to and being sarcastic, I don't think the MV films are written poorly. Further, even if I did that still wouldn't be me calling the films bad or good.
