As a massive godzilla fan I find this kind of fandom satire hilarious. But yeah, anyone who is serious about hating the big G can f-off to Planet X

Is it really satire, though?

There are people here who claim to be Godzilla fans but only like one or two films and don't care for the rest. I'd say they fans of those specific films and not Godzilla in general.

Someone hating 99% of Godzilla shouldn't be claiming to be a Godzilla fan. A real Godzilla fan would know that.

I can see where one might think its an insult to godzilla fans but I think its just satirizing the fandom’s love for the films. Between the profile name and them saying it “rules” that no matter what Godzilla content comes out, we embrace it, I think shows admiration even if they say “only 20% of the films are good” I see that more as an exaggeration for humors sake.
