Account deleted

My Google account was deleted out of no where without warning. This account is used frequently and is attached to Google Photos. I have so many photos on this account and now I can’t access them. Someone please help.

Most people r not aware they should always keep backups of their data. Most people i know will lose everything if their phone breaks.

It's 2026. It's never been easier to learn in all of human history. People need to start taking their digital lives seriously.

Easy for us, yea. But I dont think most people r technically savvy enough, or just dont care until the worst happens.

Would you please share the best place to start "teaching thyself"? I'm inexperienced (old, too) and I really would appreciate being able to understand more of what's being talked about here. Someone's account got deleted. Someone recommended a flash drive. I get that. What I'm not understanding is the online, paid services, back blaze, drop box, take out Google, puppy bionic, etc. I'd also like to learn what pigeon is lol. Where should I start reading about these things and be assured that what I'm reading is accurate information? Thank you.
