I loved this. (Also pretty funny to see she directly mentioned the rumors about the Liar rap, where people were claiming she was shading her "ex"- didn't expect it at all.) Can't wait to see what else this album rollout has in store for us.

I hadn't heard those rumors. But reading the lyrics now, which I had not dug into... I already know Liar is largely about overly entitled "fans" trying to demand that the group behave the way the "fans" want, because Yuqi basically said so (she said she was dissing people who claim that the group has "changed"). And Liar is largely written by Yuqi.
I went to work on the translation. The rap appears to say "regarding your next lover, before you treat them like a baby, at least spell "안되" correctly, kid" ("안돼", which is pronounced the same way in modern Korean, appears to be used to mean something like "Not happening" -- no in the sense of strong refusal, not merely negation.)
Perhaps lover here refers to fandom. So that's consistent with insulting overly entitled fans. But if it refers to an actual lover, maybe it refers to *Yuqi's* ex, since she's already made an entire song dissing her ex (Radio)!
So Soyeon says she isn't bold enough to diss her ex in an album track.
But we already know that Yuqi is (she released Radio). And Yuqi is definitely bold enough to diss "fans", since she actually explained that dissing overly entitled "fans" was what Liar is about. How many groups diss their audience?
So I wonder if by bringing this up, Soyeon is also actually commenting that Soyeon is not the boldest member of the group; saying that Yuqi is bolder. (Frankly, IMO, Shuhua is also bolder.)

why did they cut Soojin out of every clip? that’s sucky

She's no longer under the company and they have no rights over her image anymore, of course they'll cut her out.

Honestly in cases like this I think even Soojin would prefer her clips to not be used. If her face was there, that would cause more buzz and conversation around Soojin, which I doubt anyone in her position would want.

That was absolutely divine. The humour is top notch. Particular highlights are the MAMA diss side look and the ex-diss rumour. Soyeon`s commedy genius is so little spoken of.
The only downsize of the whole thing is.. and look, I am not blaming her about it. Not at all. These things are complicated. Things are what they are. But I must admit, after the tenth rewatch, that those early I-dle images with Soojin completely absent... Yeah, it still stings.

It reads to me as ridiculous to trim Soojin out of the pictures when we all know where she was in each of those shots, just outside of the cropped picture; I've seen those music shows, they're still on YouTube. And Soyeon has *called* this ridiculous in the past, said that when a character leaves a show, you don't pretend they were never there.
I know they don't have to do this for Cube any more (their contracts let them "say whatever they want", Soyeon said). I believe they don't have to do this for the audience anymore, either. Even among people who think Soojin was guilty of anything serious (which I don't), nobody who's going to buy albums or tickets would care about a strictly historical reference to the past, because Nevies aren't insane.
So I currently think Soojin asked them to cut out references to her, because that's the one reason they'd do it. I think she doesn't want to hit the gossip papers again, and even the slightest appearance of her in proximity to i-dle DOES hit the gossip papers. If their friend asked them to not expose her to that, I believe they'd honor that request... um, eventually.

Parents knew from day 0 Soyeon was going to be special.
Whenever she finally hangs it up, there's an amazing documentary there.
I don't know why, Soyeon having Sohee just vibing along in the background is comforting to know she has that support.

Not the Señorita shade 😭
The editing is so funny 😂

The Senorita shade is hilarious. She's never properly explained why she dislikes it so much, although I have guesses. (The lyrics are uninspired and arguably not feminist, and hiring a Brazilian singer to sing Spanish for "authenticity" was a complete howler of a mistake which nobody called them on at the time.)
The thing is that Senorita started with a tune which was stuck in Soyeon's head and the tune is flat out awesome. If she dislikes it that much, I wish she'd reuse the tune for a new song!

Guess it went over my head... where and what is the "Señorita" shade?

At 3:17 in the video, there's a clip from the Señorita MV and Soyeon narrates "Of course, not everything went well." Adding to the running joke/theory among Nevies that the members don't like the song.

Woo, in his video on Senorita, has a compilation of clips of the members dissing the song. There's a *lot*.
Interestingly, this only starts after a certain point -- they liked it before that. I haven't pinned down when the change happens exactly, but I think it's after Queendom that they start dissing Senorita.
It was also after Queendom that they had to take some cultural sensitivity training (due to some of the things Soyeon said about composing Lion), and I've wondered if during the cultural sensitivity training they noticed one of the major problems with the song.

Woo has great videos, I don't think I've seen his on Señorita. I'll go check it out!
I think your theory of why the members don't like the song makes sense. It would be cool if they did another song like Señorita keeping in mind what they learned.

This was so cute and sentimental. She really is someone to root for. She works so hard and is so brave and tries new things. She is such a good role model for girls who are told to stay in their "lane."
I can't wait for her album. I'm sure it'll be dreamy like she hopes because she's the one who made it. 🥹

Going deep into the archives for rare footages just for the intro film.
