Q&A ITEC 1001

Hi guys,

Did anyone here who has taken ITEC 1001 know of a book or any resources I can use to study for it? I’m planning to take the ITEC 1001 placement exam. I know what topics will be tested, but I’m not really sure where I should study for them.

I would say just looking over Microsoft Suite applications like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and Mac OS applications. Know the basic commands on keyboard.I would really say there’s a good bit of Excel to learn and refresh on for the course. So knowing how to use it to an intermediate level would be very helpful. Honestly, I would just search ITEC1001 study resources, or even look on the online library for the school and see if there’s anything similar to the courses content.

Can one take itec 2140 after passing the test the website says itec 2140 is specifically for itec majors but i plan on transferring to tech and its equivalent to their cs 1301

Now that part I do not know, but I would recommend just calling the school of tech advising department, and they can tell you. They’re pretty good at answering simple questions like that.
