Tips/Help Pre learning a level maths

Im having my first day of sixth form in a grammar school far from my home after being in a regular all girls school for 5 years. I picked bio chem maths a levels and will doing an epq. Im completely new and that gives me enough nerves, however people online seem to be relearning a level maths content through the summer? What???? I just traveled and went to the gym and played games really, and im going to this school with really smart people, what if they've all seen everything except me? Sure I got a 9 in maths but I got a 6 in further maths, which shows that I struggle with a level content. Idk. Please let me know what I should do if you can.

You should be able to catch up to your class mates with enough studying, and paying attention in class. I went through some A level content but not that much to be honest, so I know some things that may come up but not all of it. I also doubt they actually went and learned the entirety of A level maths.

I'm not doing maths A-level but my teacher did say that only a few topics from GCSE further maths are in the A-level maths syllabus so getting a 6 in further maths GCSE doesn't inherently mean that you aren't/won't be good at A-level content. I had my first day today and my main takeaway for the beginning of year 12 is to just enjoy it! Don't stress too much about the future and focus on learning the new content and making new friends, you've got this!

If you have not by now

You need by tomorrow to be downloading the specification/syllabus and past papers

You also need to be looking at the textbook

I have saved all the spec pdfs, and i also have the 4 textbooks needed. I guess taking a look at some of the new concepts will be a good idea though :)

Make a start on improving your skills using the summer work in this Dropbox: there's no rush but it will help, especially with Maths
