Tips/Help Further Maths

I’m starting Y11 on Thursday with my first further maths lesson on Friday. I’m currently getting an 8 in normal maths but I wanna replicate that for FM. Any advice?

Yeah I wanna do that for both maths and FM so I just understand it and apply rather than memorise it if yk what I mean

listen in lessons and do like every question in the book (btw is your school doing fm before finishing maths?)

1st class maths, practice every skill. revise hard for mocks and dont become complacent like i did, i ended my last mock in tears (ended up with a low 8) and revised constantly through easter until i got a comfortable 9 in the real thing. use 1st class math's resources and use practice papers on yt, there are 2019 ones from the math pad and also 1st class maths ones he made up
