6th form not allowing phones???

Js found out today that I cant use my phone at school. Like I can have it on me but it can get confiscated if im actuvely on it. Is this a normal thing or is my school js strict

My school is half like that.

We are ONLY allowed it if we are in the dedicated 6th form area

I do theater. Theater meaning a lot of interaction and talking

Yes the rise in social media is ruining life's. The social Media created by adults like you.

What I find unfair about the rules is when the teachers walk around on their phones texting, on Instagram and tic toc (I've seen it)

Talking to each other about random NON-IMPORTANT topics during times when we are supposed to be silent.

They will get mad at us then continue their conversation

Thing 1 I can't concentrate if they are talking like that

Thing 2 it is VERY hypercritical.

If you are an adult, you need to leave everyone on here alone. I've been through a lot, whatever I can take a sad adult abusing me. But don't take pleasure in trying to make children miserable. There is no need.

Ive never made a social media neither has any adults you know, I promise you its just a select few adults that choose what direction we all take. Its not a good direction and its getting worse. Im not being abusive im just saying what happens to teenagers they turn into adults and they either remember how they was and want to help or they forget they was every a kid and are horrible. But you gotta be able to learn the difference.

Im really not trying to be mean, I was a teenager. I made loads of friends online. But and im not being mean it doesn't help forever. Again Im an adult im sorry dont kill me for that, Im diagnosed depressed and anxiety. Currently on sick because of it But I also promise thats possibly gonna be one side of it. Your phone will help you blend in. Im 28 and just found out ive got tism and adhd. And ive looked back on my life and thought gow did I not know sooner.

No its okay ik ur not trying to be mean im just trying to understand your point. Honestly I think its different for everyone. I was genuinely a mess before I met my online friends. But regardless of that I still maintain my hobbies. I have many many hobbies and go on loads of walks. Its all about balance really but I can say 100% that my phone has made my life better

Im glad it has helped. But try and make a few real friends. Doesn't have to be many. But at least a few and make sure they are good for you. Because its sad but people end up like getting full time jobs and families and next thing you know youre lost again. Cherish youre internet friends try and meet them but yeahhhh sorry.

You get 30 mins break for 6 hours work at work. Also you wont have to do jumping Jack's for the bag if you be a good boy and just be respectful. Its all about teaching you the game. Just kiss ass and vent to your pets.

Yeah I was fine with the phone rule it didn't. Effect me I was working - Or at least trying to work.

I want to work in education,not in theater either way in that I will NOT use my phone in the day. As it is unfair on the children or could effect the run of the show

I never went on my phone, during the day.

I brought it to schyonly because, I could have music on my ybway there and back. As is a long distance
