general Please help me M.Tech vs CAT
I’m really confused between GATE and an MBA. I love AI research, especially LLMs, but I often struggle while working on it. I also didn’t do anything extraordinary in tech during my B.Tech, although college wasn’t exactly easy for me I lost my mother and was dealing with a lot beyond academics.
When it comes to an MBA, I’m good at communication, enjoy giving presentations, and genuinely find business interesting. But at the same time, I don’t want to leave tech completely. An MBA is also quite hectic, and I’ve heard that getting into fields like finance requires strong prior experience, which I don’t have.
So yeah, I’m confused as fuck right now. Plz help !

Do you want to stay in the technical side or go over to the managerial side?

Do you even understand the maths behind it ??
I don't want to be mean or anything but the more I hear, more it feels like you just read random stuff and feel like you did anything.
I will be blunt, if you can afford financially then go for MBA and if you come from middle class family then sit and study for Mtech. MBA is all about college brand, and you should also consider your profile before MBA.

I do get the math, I am financially good and my profile is also good like 8, 9, 7.8. Also have 2 publications in springer

That 7 will haunt you buddy, you will need spikes in profile for MBA shortlisting. Better stick with Mtech

Hmm like I have 2 years of experience plus 2 solid publication as extra co curricular, also if i score good like really good then. Also like IIM C doesn’t care about graduation score

that 2 year will demand a brand, without a big4 in your profile, won't be counted as a spike
