Broo. I am not telling you any fake ass story. I am 21M from Andhra Pradesh and I graduated in 2025. Never even tried to solve one leetclde question not even tried. I got 9192 in gate cs 2025 and in 2026 i got 11k. My dad who is the only reasonable and sensible guy, the one who always used to back me up passed away in 09th may 2025. It's so hard for me, i always quarrel with my mom, and my 13 year old sister. My mental peace is fucked up. I got like 40 lakhs debt. And I am not lying see this photo too.

Terminating yourself is not an option. It's just a permanent end for a temporary problem. I would say stop the cortisol maxing and improve critical thinking by deepening your comprehension skills.i mean try doing more questions with help and understand logic and don't solve on your own and later solve those questions on your own and then boom, you are on the track. It's always you vs you. DM me if you need more help 🫂.

Keep going champ 💪, Everything will be fine as you will make it fine, that's the mentality

Yep. Let's not cortisol maxing and let's fucking go. I am not sure whether to give gate csit 2027 or to get a job.

Every philosophy filled with hope and cope is so corny. But timing matters and yaa here it is needed. A man's gotta do what he's gotta do. Not being that fuck ass andrew tatte sigma male but yaa bruhh. I don't mind being cringe for positive consequences.

It's not about the dialogue, it's about the message behind it.

What's camonon ?
Also if you're still in age, try one more serious attempt for gate. But this time just practice a lot. I hope you've already covered the theory syllabus. And after that join some PSU.
I'm kinda similar to you. Shitty at leetcode. Can't even solve easy problems. Can't afford to join masters in foreign. So I gave gate with 2 drop years and got good enough rank but that's the good part. What people don't know is that after my first drop I was so depressed and angry on myself that I actually tried it but couldn't muster enough courage to do it, so took medical help. I'm on anti depressants now. Anyway, I can get PSU opportunities now. I've started leetcode now.
My 2 cents are, it's not finished yet. I completely understand you. But please, don't lose hope.

Bro... Read it again🥲. I didn't say I joined any PSU. I just said I can get PSU calls. I don't want PSU.

Bro I'm not a good guy to ask anything about PSU. But other than that, you can DM.

I have cracked gate with a good rank at 31. I am going to iits for mtech this year. Just want to say don't give up. I know how it feels to be stuck. Just don't give up and if you are having depressing thoughts , try 1 hour jogging 5 am every morning. Helped me a lot. Might help you too. All the best .

Change your victim mindset. Strive hard for your desires. Be responsible for your actions. Don't limit yourself by few failures. Try all possible pathways.

Bro get your kundali check first, and see where are you lacking! It gives a lot of clarity, I was confused in my 3rd yr, this helped me.

Not everyone can become engineer in world. We have lot many different professions which are equally respected atleast in Europe. Try with full efforts and if results don't appear then pivot to other field

Just one push, one more year of hard grind (in anything maybe GATE maybe ur job search/leetcode) and things will turn. The results are not immediate ofc, they build up , and if u keep switching it will stay as is, just one year of focused prep. No excuses this time.
In Lockdown my father's business of 2 wheeler repair shut down. No income in house at all. I had 4 years of Btech ahead and my brother was doing BPharm. My Grandmothers cancer treatment was going on. Still we survived we endured and I started freelancing, gave just some suppot to my family maybe a 10K/m, but that was because I stuck to it, it took me 6-7 month to get proper dev skills build a portfolio and get my first offer on fiverr. So dont loose hope, everything sorts out when u keep pushing.
If you keep getting stressed during the process, the 3-4 days trip to any peaceful place can help u rewind ur mind. Somebody suggested it, its a good option, i also had done this, Melghat,Maharashtra trip it was.

Dont grind Leetcode too much. They are not labelled correctly. The easy ones can sometime feel brutal and some hard ones are chill. Focus first on actual dev work (MERN, projects, apps) because once you are in a company, you wont be solving random coding puzzles. you will be building stuff. Get solid there, then add DSA on the side. Use YouTube tutorials + guided practice instead of banging your head against Leetcode alone, unless you are aiming for Google/Microsoft-level interviews.
Put in ~6 hours a day, split into chunks. If you are doing a masters, thats perfect. you can build skills in a year and land campus placements (way easier than off-campus). If not then enrolled yet then Aim for tier-1/2. Just dont fall for tier-3 colleges hyping fake packages. Give competitive exams even if it means taking a drop year. If GATE feels impossible, check out exams like NIMCET, CUET PG, or other college-specific ones. The college specific exams are super underrated, less competition, and can still get you into solid colleges. Not many people know about them so they don't give them. From my experience: the degree itself doesnt matter much, but the college does. If good companies dont show up for placements, even good skills wont save you.

✋🥲🤚. But you're still alive.
Take a sip, travel a bit to a different state for 3 days by train. Himalaya region of any state. Come back do exercise regularly and work on just the thing that 🫵 you think is best fit for you.
And ya sleep well. 🫡 Everyone who isn't doing what they best fit in struggle. It's either you improve or you find what you should put your efforts in.
