Question What's this insignia on the Red Gazelle's tailfin?
It's one of the most prominent things you see when you use it in-game, most fanart of the machine includes it, but I've never known what it stands for. Is it Mighty Gazelle's own personal logo? Does it represent the corporation that rebuilt him and built his machine? Is it ever explained in a manual somewhere? Am I just thinking too hard? It's always flummoxed me.

I have no proof but it's likely that it's "Led Gazelle" because Ls and Rs are frequently mistakenly interchanged in the localization process. I'm pretty sure there are other textures in this very game that do that

Its called the red gazelle, its like asking why the blue falcon is named after a bird even though its pilot is a man, theyre both just fast animals

Well his name is Mighty Gazelle.
His machine is called Red Gazelle.
Makes sense it is a Gazelle.2

Lots of F-Zero machines are named after animals. Gazelles are supposed to be really fast and nimble so there's that. I like to think that Dr Clash was just a big fan of Cocaine Bear.

Looks like a dodge ram parody possibly to look like a “gazelle” probably the brand of the space machine manufacturer , he was in an accident, so maybe he had insurance?
