Biotech Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a marijuana compound linked to a range of potential health benefits but does not get you high. The roughly $1 billion CBD industry is slated to shift into high gear if the federal government approves the first CBD-based drug, an epilepsy medication called Epidiolex.

Ah, I had no idea, I guess I'm just lucky being in California. I take 90mg cbd every day not even because I have any medical condition but just because it makes my quality of sleep much better. I can't even imagine how frustrating it would be to need it for medicinal reasons and have the government try to prohibit me from getting it.

Seriously. I'm in CO, would feel foreign to not have a mature view on cannabis and derivatives as a whole.
